basis. We recommend mailing your packet ten (10) days before the deadline.

TABLE RENTAL
---
Tables
may be rented at a cost of $10 per eight-foot table (see
registration form). If you choose this option, all you will have to bring is
your own pads, covers, bells, and music. We have a limited number of tables for
rent, so please send in your registration form as early as possible or use
online registration.
SET-UP ---
Early set-up will be on Friday, November 14, 2008, from
5:00 - 6:30 PM.
The early set-up will end promptly at 6:30 PM due to the Friday evening
classes/Challenge Choir rehearsal. All choirs may set-up on Saturday, November
15, 2008, from 7:30 - 8:00 AM during the registration/set-up time.
SOLOS
--- With the addition of our Challenge Choir track, our concert times have been
filled. Unfortunately, we will not have any spaces for solo pieces from your
choir this year; but stay tuned for next years festival!
YOUTH Pick-Up Choir
--- Youth ringers who would like to attend CORD Festival 2008 but are unable to
attend with their complete choir are encouraged to ring in our Youth Pick-Up
Choir. When you register as an orphan ringer make a note that you would like to
be part of the Youth Pick-Up Choir. Remember to list your preferred position
(which are on a first-come basis). After you register, you're ready to ring --
just bring gloves and your music!
YOUTH GROUPS --- Youth
groups are welcome at CORD Festival 2008 with at least one sponsor/chaperone per
6 ringers. If your church requires more sponsors/chaperones, we ask that
you please follow your church's guidelines.
Sponsors/Chaperones are required
to register (see
registration form).
SPECIAL SET-UP NEEDS --- Please
let us know if you have a bass bell rack or other special apparatus. No
apparatus will be allowed at the festival without prior notification.
LUNCH ---
Lunch will be off site this year. Please let your ringers know to bring money
for lunch, afternoon water, and snacks.
REFUND POLICY --- Refunds requested by the
registrant after September 26, 2008, are at the discretion of the CORD Board &
Festival Registrar; refunds will be for 75% of the fees paid. NO refunds will be
given after October 17, 2008, due to expenses already incurred. A full refund
will be given if the choir’s footage request cannot be met or we have reached
maximum registration.
Mystery Piece Refund -- If your choir
already has the piece in your repertoire library, CORD will purchase the piece
back from the choir for 50% of the original purchase price if the piece is still
in good shape. The Board may refuse to re-purchase a piece if it is not in a
useable condition. For advance knowledge of the Mystery Piece, please contact
this year's festival registrar. You will be sworn to complete secrecy!
DIRECTORS’ MEETING ---
There will be a
Directors’ Meeting during the last rehearsal of the day before the concert.
Directors, this is a good chance for you to let us know how CORD is working for
you and to offer any suggestions you have for the future.
Remember, absolutely no photocopied music is allowed at CORD Festival 2008
whether festival or non-festival music.
